Shailene Diann Woodley, (born November 15, 1991) is an American actress. Woodley is known for portraying Amy Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager and for co-starring alongside George Clooney in the critically acclaimed 2011 film The Descendants. For her performance in The Descendants she was nominated for a Golden Globe and she won an Independent Spirit Award as well as the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Breakthrough Performance Award.
